Matthew 25:21: 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things; I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
On Monday, June 1st, Rev. Gene Greene heard those words.
For nearly 65 years, Brother Greene was a pillar of this community as a minister of the gospel. He pastored numerous churches throughout the region and faithfully officiated thousands of weddings and funerals for local families.
Bro. Greene truly shepherded this community-- he was a pastor's pastor, an esteemed colleague, a gentleman, a patriarch, and above all, a lover of Jesus.
It is an honor to host the celebration of his life and faithful ministry to his King here at Faith Assembly. Please join us this weekend as we pay our respects to Bro. Greene and his family.

A funeral service honoring Reverend Gene Greene will be held on Monday, June 8th at 11:00 AM at Faith Assembly of God Church in London, KY with Pastor Rodney Goodlett officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 7th at 6:00 PM-- also at Faith Assembly of God Church. Brother Greene will be laid to rest at Cottongim Cemetery.
