Changing the world rarely starts on a stage—it starts in close proximity. The mission of Jesus was never about reaching everyone at once, but faithfully reaching the one in front of you. When lives are close enough, influence becomes inevitable.

Like dominoes set in motion, one intentional act of sharing, one relationship invested in, one person discipled can create an impact far beyond what we can see. God multiplies what we faithfully start. Real change doesn’t begin with the masses—it begins with one, and then another, and then another, as His power turns simple obedience into something far greater than we could accomplish on our own.

One way we can change the world is by belonging to Christ's church. And on an already beautiful Sunday in the Lord's house, we had the opportunity to welcome the Nolan family into the CCC family today. We’re grateful for God leading them here, and we look forward to growing, serving, and walking alongside them as part of this church family.

God’s standard isn’t measured against other people—there is no grading curve. Left to ourselves, we all fall short. But through Christ, grace reshapes our purpose. We are saved not by works, but for them—created in Christ Jesus to live lives that reflect His love and truth in the world around us.

Jesus summarized the heart of God’s command in Matthew 22: love God fully and love your neighbor genuinely. That kind of love moves beyond labels, assumptions, and boundaries, focusing less on who our neighbors aren’t and more on the people God has already placed around us. When believers live this way, their presence begins to influence homes, workplaces, and entire communities for Christ.

Growth means moving beyond always being fed and learning to feed ourselves—then turning around to help nourish others along the way.

The love of the Father didn’t just give us a new name—it gave us a new purpose. If we are truly His children, the message of Jesus can’t stay locked inside us. The gospel was always meant to travel, and God still sends ordinary people into prepared moments just like He did with Philip on a desert road. One prompting, one conversation, one act of obedience can become the turning point in someone’s eternity.

Faith that sits still slowly becomes faith that gets buried. When what we’ve been given is hidden instead of lived and shared, the loss is bigger than our own comfort—it touches the souls around us. But when the reality of who we are in Christ takes hold, talking about Him stops feeling forced and starts becoming natural overflow. Core values are not ideas we agree with; they are truths that move our feet, open our mouths, and make us available whenever God says, “Go.”

We would like to cordially invite all the women of the congregation to participate in movie night with the M&M's group. Everyone is meeting at the Corbin theater at 5:45 on Tuesday March 3rd and each person just purchases their own ticket and snacks. If anyone needs help with assistance for transportation or purchasing a ticket feel free to reach out to someone in the M&M's group.

Just a reminder:
Tuesday March 3rd we are going to see the movie "I can only Imagine 2" as a group at The Corbin movie theater. The showing is at 6:00 so we are going to meet in the foyer at 5:45. All women are invited.

Grace is never cheap because sin is never small. The weight of our debt is real, yet the beauty of the gospel is that Jesus did not ask us to pay what we could never afford—He paid the bill in full. In the prayer Jesus taught in Matthew 6, forgiveness is not presented as a pressure to achieve perfection, but as the evidence that our hearts have truly received the mercy of God. We release others not because they deserve it, but because we have been forgiven an impossible amount. The call to forgive “seventy times seven” reminds us that kingdom forgiveness is not about keeping score; it is about living from a life that has been completely covered by grace. Sin still tempts like a lure in the water—appealing on the surface but hiding a hook—but the cross exposes both the seriousness of our condition and the greatness of God’s love. When we pray, we come as people who could never settle our own account, yet walk away free because of Christ—and that kind of freedom reshapes how we see others, how we release offenses, and how we live.
