Ephesians 6:10-18 KJVS
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
[11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
[14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
[15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
[16] Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
[17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
[18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

"Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not ...seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself."

Wanted to share a little something with you all. As was reading today, this really hit. We have to hold everything up to the word of God. Not everything is as it seems. Satan knows our desires as well, and just as was done in the garden, he will tempt you in order to pull you away from God. The word “prove” is the Greek word dokimadzo, which means to approve after testing. In other words, don't simply believe everything you hear. Test it before you accept it. If it goes against God's word, it's not of or from God.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 KJV
[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
[22] Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Satan is seeking to destroy. He's not coming all in red with horns and a pitchfork. He's coming dressed as your biggest desires. If it stands up to God's word. Thank God for the blessing. If it goes against it, tell satan to get behind thee. Remember walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Just a little something on my heart. Love you all and looking forward to tomorrow night.
