HOMECOMING SUNDAY AUGUST 2, 2026

MEAL TO FOLLOW! BRING A DISH (OR NOT) AND JOIN US. WE'D LOVE TO SEE YOU!!
I tried several times to make a nice flyer of invitation for our Homecoming but it just did not come together. So I thought I'd just take a minute to encourage people to join us. It's a special service and it is important! Consider this.....
* it's a time to celebrate the heritage of our church...
remembering those who worked to keep the church there for us today... sometimes reuniting to share memories and see old friends and family. To hear testimonies of how the faithfulness of God saved souls and served a community through those who have stood and served within our doors.
* a time to sing praises to our Lord for using the church in our lives in such ways as; I was saved here, I learned to serve here, God healed me here, I was called into ministry or missionary work here... I learned about forgiveness and obedience here.. We experienced many discipleship trainings here.. God TOUCHED me and my family in this very place. So many have passed through this body and God says it is GOOD to remember the goodness of God.
* sharing this time, meeting new people and reconnecting with others inspires us to keep going forward. It boosts our faith and encourages our spirits! The fellowship strengthens our ties and brings a unity to the body of Christ that we are commanded to pursue! And we know it is for our good.. because it is of God's design that we gather together for study, fellowship and work!
Come sing a song for us or enjoy the special singers! Need a hug? or a handshake? Need to hear that God is still working and knows your heart? Join us!! He will meet us there.
