From Jaron:
Saturday Night Prayer (8 PM - 9 PM) is right around the corner!
What if you knew that your prayers along with those with you ...in Jesus Name ....in faith ..in agreement....could shut down demonic activities, send forth God's army of angels, heal the sick, raise the dead, bring about a boldness in us to preach the Gospel, and could bring people and families face to face with Jesus? Wouldn't you be looking forward to every time there's a prayer gathering?
This is what Jesus was basically telling us is available to us in Matthew 18:18-20....and I've actually had a huge example of that right before me. A friend of mine invited me to help him start up an all night men's prayer meeting at his church. The leadership of that church saw what was happening. They asked us if it was OK if we wouldn't mind opening it to everyone (men, women, and children). We of course were like, let's do it. The church caught fire in The Holy Spirit!
Men, women, families with their children...all gathered in prayer. I'm not talking about a soft little whisper here while someone clear across the room has their soft little prayer. We prayed together in agreement in Jesus' Name ! It was loud at times. It was awesome all the time. These were the times we were led into specific areas of prayer...families,schools, the government, churches, etc. It was waves of worship/praise and prayer. I, how God filled the place! There was a peace and joy and God's presence filling the room as we'd have stacks of prayer requests we'd anount with oil and bring to the alter! We'd pray for stacks of prayers and individual prayers as the Holy Spirit led. It wasn't chaotic. There was an order of worship and prayer with The Holy Spirit's life in it! Children were praying, too! All experiencing Matthew 18:18-20 together! The church overflowed as well!
God's Word is still true today. I believe God wants to take things further than I ever seen! Wouldn't every one who's on fire for Jesus and for the people around them to have the fullness of Jesus in their lives be excited about that?
Matthew 18:18-20 should pack our place at prayer!
