ANNOUNCEMENTS: April 8, 2020

 Worship Service will continue to be held via the Zoom app for
online teleconferencing on this Sunday, April 12th at 10:30am.
If you have not downloaded the app on your cellphone or
computer, please do so as soon as possible. If we don’t have
your email address, please send it to Rev. Smith at
[email protected] so you can use this tool for
participation in worship. We will also attempt to broadcast via
Facebook live. Please be aware that Zoom attendees will be
muted starting at 10:15am.

 Sunday School will also be held again on this Sunday, April 12 th
at 9:20am via the Zoom app. As with Worship Service, Sunday
School attendees will be muted. Please use the “chat” option to
ask questions or make comments. Youth Sunday School
teachers are reaching out to parents of our youth to schedule
Sunday School for our children. Please continue to support the
Sunday School Ministry for all ages.
 During these challenging times, all are encouraged to remain
faithful in their support of the church and its mission. Please
mail in or drop off your tithes and offering so that TVBF can

continue to minister to members and the community. The
Finance Committee will be available to receive you tithes and
offering at the church on Sundays from 8:30am to 8:45am and
from 12:15pm to 12:45pm for your convenience. Thank you
once again for your faithfulness.
 Please be aware that a Fact Sheet handout on Advance Health
Care Directive is available in the church office. Make your
wishes known prior to a health crisis.

 New Member’s class will be held via Zoom at times
coordinated between candidates and instructors. Will you lead
anyone to Christ this year? Will you make a disciple this
year?
 The Bridge House and Marks House are in need of
donations for the children and families who reside there
(e.g., sealed bags of individually wrapped candies, new
bags of Easter eggs, Easter baskets, new socks in adult &
child sizes, & small new gifts for children). If you are able to

Hello TVBF Family,
During the planning stages of my fathers funeral, & while trying to handle constant changes due to COVID-19, I want you all to know I couldn't have made it without your support. Papa Joe was truly BLESSED to have such an amazing church family to love on him for 48 years!
Special thanks to Reverend Smith, Ramona Rogers, Jo Street, TC Peterson & the Hospitality Committee! There were so many cards, floral pieces, & kind words of encouragement. Whatever you did to try to console our hearts...We thank you all so much!

Good Evening True Vine Family,

As I'm sure that you're aware, the Governor has issued an order for California residents to stay at home except for "essential needs." I'm also sure that you agree that worshipping the Lord is an essential need for those who seek to follow Him. Fortunately, we can and should worship the Lord in every location and situation, amen! I have spoken with our Board Chairman and the Board and I are in complete agreement that Sunday School and Worship Service will be canceled for this coming Sunday, given the Governor's order and concerns for the safety and well-being of all. The Board and I will develop plans for Bible Study, Sunday School, and Sunday Worship in the days and weeks to come and will inform the congregation of such in the near future. God's program will continue as it has for centuries in spite of diseases and disasters. Please be mindful of the ongoing need to support the ministry of True Vine Bible Fellowship. I encourage you to continue to be obedient Christians as you have been over the years. Spend time in prayer, reading the Word, and then mail your tithes and offerings to the church at 533 South Avalon, Lompoc, CA 93436. I will certainly continue to support the ministry and pay my tithes and give offerings as Interim Pastor as I have done over the past 30 years as a member of this great church. Please feel free to call me should you have any questions, concerns, or needs. Our God is faithful and He will see us through this difficult time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Mar 18, 2020

• The Home-Going Service for Papa Joe Martin has been cancelled due to the health concerns as a result of the Coronavirus. Please continue to pray for the Martin Family. Thank you for the love and support that you have been showing and will continue to show to the family.

• Worship Service will be held on this Sunday, March 22nd at 10:30am. If you have a fever, shortness of breath, or a cough or are in a high risk category (over 70 years young) please stay at home. If healthy, come to worship the Lord and maintain social distance of 6 feet away from others. If the government authorities issue other directives, we will comply and notify the membership of the same. Please be aware that Sis. Tanya Jones produces a live Facebook feed each Sunday. Contact her and submit a friend request to be able to view the live feed.

• Sunday School will be held on this Sunday, March 22nd at 9:20am. Adults will meet in the Sanctuary & children in classrooms. Please exercise precautions as with Worship Service (e.g., maintain social distance of 6 feet apart).

• The next New Member’s class will be on Wednesday, Mar. 25th at 7:00PM. Will you lead anyone to Christ this year? Will you make a disciple this year?

• Thanks to all who participated in a wonderful Pastor and Family Annual Appreciation and Retirement Service on last Sunday. They are safe and sound in Florida and greatly appreciated all the love shown to them.

He will be laid to rest at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery at approximately 2pm on Friday, March 20, 2020.
