Another blessed time as we gathered to honor and worship our God!

Yesterday we looked at "The Enemy in the Mirror" We discussed the ongoing conflict between the flesh and the Spirit. Every believer experiences this struggle. The flesh pulls us toward selfishness, pride, anger, and sinful desires, while the Holy Spirit leads us toward holiness, obedience, love, and surrender to Christ.

The good news is that God has not left us to fight this conflict alone. Our Victory is in walking daily with the Holy Spirit through dependence, surrender, and obedience.

This week, allow God to really work on you. Each day, take a few moments to ask yourself:
- Am I feeding my flesh or feeding my spirit?
- Am I following my feelings or following God's truth?
- Am I living for myself or living for Christ?

Before your feet hit the floor each morning, pray:
"Lord, today I surrender my will, my desires, my plans, and my attitudes to You. Let Your Spirit lead me so that my life will be pleasing to You."

Then intentionally take one step of obedience each day:
Choose forgiveness over bitterness.
Choose humility over pride.
Choose prayer over worry.
Choose God's Word over worldly influences.
Choose surrender over control.

Remember, the goal isn't perfection—it's dependence on the Holy Spirit. As you walk with Him daily, you'll discover that the greatest battle isn't won by trying harder, but by surrendering more completely to Christ.

Challenge: At the end of each day, ask yourself, "Who won the battle today—the flesh or the Spirit?" Then thank God for His grace and ask Him for strength to walk with Him tomorrow.

Have a blessed week and continue to grow in Christ!

The Christian life was never promised to be easy. There will be challenges, temptations, disappointments, and seasons that test our faith. Yet God never intended for us to walk this journey in our own strength. When we daily submit and surrender our lives to Christ, die to our own desires, and choose to walk in step with the Holy Spirit, we find the grace and strength we need for each day.

The key is not trying harder—it’s yielding more. The more we allow Jesus to lead, the less we depend on ourselves. Victory comes when Christ is on the throne of our hearts and we trust Him to direct our steps…DAILY!

As you go through today, take a moment to ask yourself: Who is leading my life right now? Am I following my own plans and impulses, or am I following Jesus?

The direction of our day is often determined by who we have chosen to follow.
May we all be able to say, “Lord, not my will, but Yours be done.”

Who has the lead today—you or Jesus?

If you’re waiting on God today, be encouraged:
- Your waiting is not wasted.
- Your prayers are not ignored.
- Your tears are not unseen.

The same God who came through for Joseph, Abraham, Esther, Lazarus, and Joshua is still faithful today. Be strong, take heart, and wait on the Lord. Your breakthrough is in His hands, and His timing is always perfect.

This Saturday, May 30th | ⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This Saturday, we’re coming together to help care for and refresh different areas around our church campus! We’re excited for a great day of fellowship, teamwork, and serving together as we create new spaces, clean out areas to make room for continued growth, and organize and improve different parts of the campus.

There will be something for everyone to do! No special skills are required, just willing hearts and helping hands! So, whether you can stay all day or stop by for a little while, your time and help will truly make a difference as every person who serves helps lighten the load and blesses our church family.

With that said, we thank everyone in advance who is able and willing to help this Saturday! We are so grateful for our church family and look forward to serving alongside you as we care for God’s campus together!

Today we pause to honor and remember all those who have served and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy. Their courage and sacrifice will never be taken lightly. We are deeply grateful and pray for the families and loved ones, of these amazing Men & Women!

Yesterday we finished our “Pleasing Our God”Part 3: “The Heart God Seeks”

This week we were reminded of one of the strongest truths in Scripture:

Hebrews 11:6
Without faith it is impossible to please Him…
*Not difficult. Not unlikely. Impossible.

Faith is not simply believing God exists—it is trusting who He is. Faith says:
• “God is faithful even when life is uncertain.”
• “God’s promises are still true even when I cannot see the outcome.”
• “God is worthy of my trust in every season.”

We learned that God is not looking for perfect people, but surrendered hearts that depend on Him. Faith pleases God because it requires us to stop leaning on ourselves and fully trust Him.

Sometimes faith means:
• obeying before answers come,
• trusting while waiting,
• worshiping while hurting,
• and believing while the storm is still raging.

Fear magnifies obstacles. Faith magnifies God. The storm may be real, but so is our Savior.

This week, don’t allow doubt, fear, or discouragement to become louder than God’s promises. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and continue walking by faith, not by sight.

🔹 Trust God in the unseen places.
🔹 Obey God in the difficult places.
🔹 Seek God in the waiting places.

Because faith that continues trusting God through every season is deeply pleasing in our God!

Have a blessed week!
