Slow down. Be still. Look around. Focus on Jesus… and take some time to smell the roses. 🌹
So today, on Labor Day, put the phone down, slow down, look around, thank God for what He’s given you, spend time with the people you love, and spend some time with Jesus. ❤️ Don’t become so busy getting to your destination that you miss the beauty of the journey.

Lord, held us all to guard the Gospel carefully, remain anchored in Scripture, and let our lives shine for Christ (Matthew 5:14-16). May we refuse to let corrosion creep into our walk and instead pour out our lives before Jesus, like Mary of Bethany, giving Him our very best because He alone is worthy. 🙏🏽🪽✨

“This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
— Psalm 118:24

Today is a gift from God. Whatever yesterday held and whatever tomorrow may bring, God has given you today.

So choose joy. Choose gratitude. Choose to trust Him. Don’t allow worry, frustration, or yesterday’s disappointments to steal the blessing God has placed in front of you.

You may not be able to rejoice in everything that happens today, but you can rejoice in the Lord who walks with you through it.

New day. New mercies. Same faithful God. Rejoice and be glad—God gave you TODAY!
