*Security Enhancement Fundraising Campaign*
Assalamu alaikum.
We are all aware of the tragedy in San Diego this last week, and we collectively pray to Allah for the victims.
This incident reminds us to be prepared. Alhamdu lillah, at Masjid Uthman’s two locations, we have layers of security including door access controls, a camera system, and one dedicated security person. However, we have assessed the need to enhance our system further.
We ask you to donate generously for these enhancements, to cover the following costs:
1. Two full time security personnel, one at each location for the next 12 months.
2. Upgraded door access control at the 22nd Street location.
3. Upgraded camera system in the 22nd Street location.
4. Assessments, training, and other materials required to effectively operate our security infrastructure
