**Basic Beliefs: The Nature of God**
We’ve spent this series looking at some of the foundational beliefs that shape how we understand Scripture: **the nature of the soul, the nature of hell, resurrection, and God’s future Kingdom.**
But we close with perhaps the most foundational question of all:
**Who is God?**
What does Scripture actually reveal about the One Jesus called **Father**? Who is Jesus in relationship to Him? And what does it mean when the Bible says there is **one God**?
For many Christians, our understanding of God has been shaped by doctrines and explanations handed down through centuries of church history. But in this final message of our *Basic Beliefs* series, we want to return to the Scriptures themselves and ask a simple question:
**How does God reveal Himself in His Word?**
Because our understanding of God affects everything else—how we understand Jesus, salvation, resurrection, the Kingdom, and ultimately our relationship with the One we worship.
