The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago Philoptochos extends heartfelt blessings to His All Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew, and His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago on the Feast Day of their Patron Saint, Saint Bartholomew, the Apostle. We wish them health, steadfastness, and continued strength in their faithful service.
May their Patron Saint Bartholomew continue to bless them and guide them and that Our Lord will grant them many years of ministry!

Xristos Anesti! We are reliving the wonderful memories made at our Annual Lenten Retreat. We thank the parish and Philoptochos of St. George - Schererville, Indiana & Rev. Fr. Demetrios Kounavis for hosting us, His Grace Dionysios our Retreat Master, and His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael our speaker. Of course, thank you to all our Metropolis of Chicago Philoptochos sisters who attended. Many thanks to Demetria Bakris and Georgia Karnezis who chaired this beautiful event. It truly was a memorable and lovely day.

This Pascha Season, many of our chapters baked and did bake-sales for their chapters. All the delicious breads, cookies, and sweets look amazing, ladies! And, more importantly, you can see the fellowship and love in the ladies preparing these lovely breads and sweets.
