As summer winds down so does our summer ministry. We are so thankful for all of our staff, volunteers and especially for our CYIAers who made summer ministry happen. 1,000 children were reached with the Good News of Jesus in 69 5-Day Clubs! We praise God for the 98 who were counseled for salvation and prayed to receive Jesus as the only one who could save them from their sins🙌.

CYIAers gathered together for a game night in April. Connecting with friends, playing games, studying God’s Word, worshipping our Savior Jesus are things we like to do! Only a couple of months until CYIA 2025.

Thank you to director Jonathan King and intern Lazarus Amador for leading Smoldering, our end of the summer celebration, held at the HUB (Housing Urban Ministry Building) with 82 teens and adults there to praise God for His faithfulness and goodness to us! We loved hearing testimonies from teens, as well as adults, on how the summer impacted their lives!
This past summer there were 70 5-Day Clubs with 1036 children in attendance and 52 children who gave their lives to Jesus and asked him to take away their sins!🙌

CYIA 2024 officially wrapped up on Friday evening with a graduation ceremony. We are thankful for the students who came to learn and then went out to reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ. This was only the beginning, as there are 11 5-Day Clubs taking place in the Chicagoland area this week and many more will be taking place throughout the summer. We praise God for all of the staff, volunteers, interns, and our LIT’s (Leaders in Training). He also blessed us with vehicles, drivers, and help in the kitchen. Thank you to all of you who made CYIA 2024 possible, by meeting physical needs and also by your prayers!
