Hope to see everyone tomorrow as we celebrate the life of the Lomax Church of the Nazarene. Tomorrow's schedule will be regular morning worship at 10 AM. At 2:30 PM we will have a short celebration service followed by cake and punch. Anyone is welcome to come celebrate with us. After much prayer, thought and discussion it has been decided that The Lomax Church of the Nazarene will be closing it doors on September 29th. We will hold our regular morning worship on the 29th at 10 AM and then at 2:30 PM that same day we will hold a special celebration service. We invite everyone to come celebrate the life of the church with us. Anyone interested in sharing a special thought or memory that day should leave a message here or contact Amanda Carpenter or Jackie Hetrick by Sunday, September 22. We would appreciate everyone's prayers for our church members during this difficult time. Anyone interested in more information may contact Amanda at 319-572-3380. We would also like to thank everyone who has contributed their time, prayers and finances to our church. We have seen many wonderful years of faithful service from so many of you. We continue to pray for our community and our country. May God bring special blessings to each of you.

Just wanted to share this with everyone. Shelly attended the Lomax Church as a child, and it impacted her for a lifetime. We never know how much a little bit of reaching out can effect others.
