CALLING ALL PARENTS📣📣📣

Families Pastor Josh Thompson is leading this three-week enrichment study for parents on how to disciple their children!

The study will be held in the Worship Center every Thursday night at 7pm beginning September 24th. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

Congratulations to our Congregational Care Pastor, Jimmy Wilson, for 25 years of leadership at FBCL!

Jimmy grew up on a forty-acre cattle farm in South DeKalb County. He had a horse and enjoyed being a “real” cowboy. At eight years old, he received Jesus as his Savior. Upon joining Glen Haven Baptist Church, he met his wife, Deborah. They sang together in a large youth choir that was invited to sing in numerous churches across Georgia and surrounding states. They also served together in the college ministry and went on mission trips to places like El Salvador, Mexico, and the Bahamas. After marriage, they started a Christian school and led the youth and Awanas. Later, Jimmy served as the associate pastor. In 2001, the Lord called him to serve at First Baptist Loganville where he now leads Senior Adult Ministry with his wife along with providing Congregational Care, assisted by a team that includes deacons and their wives.

Thank you, Pastor Jimmy, for everything you do for this community and church❤️
