A Beautiful Final Chapter
This Sunday was a powerful and deeply moving final service at Generation Church. What a joy it was to celebrate new life through baptisms and a precious baby dedication—a perfect reminder that even as one season closes, God is faithful to begin new things.
In our final message, we reflected on the truth that obedience is never failure and that God measures success not by size or duration, but by faithful obedience and transformed lives. Like the forgotten hero Tychicus in Scripture—mentioned only a handful of times but essential to Paul's ministry—Generation Church may have been small, but it mattered. Every prayer prayed here, every act of service, every moment of worship—God saw it all, and He will never forget.
We talked about Edward Kimball, the Sunday school teacher who led one struggling teenager to Christ in the back of a Boston shoe store. That teenager was Dwight L. Moody, and through that single act of faithfulness, the gospel eventually reached over 2 billion people through a chain that led to Billy Graham. Kimball never knew the impact of his obedience, but God knew. And friends, we may never fully know the impact of what God did here, but we trust Him with the harvest.
From all the staff and lead pastors of Generation Church—it has been an absolute honor to do life and ministry together. We couldn't think of a better way to transition than by praising God for all He has done and celebrating the new life He continues to bring forth.
Generation Church was faithful. And that's not failure—that's success in the Kingdom of God.
Thank you for being part of this beautiful story. Now we scatter as seeds into new soil, carrying what we learned here into our next assignments. The work doesn't end—it multiplies.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." —Matthew 25:21
