With bowed heads and humbled hearts, we submit to the will of God as we remember Mr. Deharte A. Edmondson, beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend of many. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016, 12 Noon at Bethel AME Church, 2000 Erie Avenue, Logansport, IN. There is no visitation prior to the service, which will begin promptly at 12 Noon. Please join the Edmondson family as we celebrate the life of Deharte A. Edmondson. God has spoken. Let the people say Amen.

Excerpt from today's message:Luke 9:28-32 (NABRE):
28 About eight days after he said this, he took Peter, John, and James and went up the mountain to pray.[a] 29 While he was praying his face changed in appearance and his clothing became dazzling white. 30 And behold, two men were conversing with him, Moses and Elijah,[b] 31 [c]who appeared in glory and spoke of his exodus that he was going to accomplish in Jerusalem. 32 Peter and his companions had been overcome by sleep, but becoming fully awake, they saw his glory[d] . . .
Wake UP Church and see the glory of the Lord! What does it mean to be asleep (spiritually)? To be unaware of our surroundings; to be lost to reality; to be ineffective. To be spiritually asleep is to be disconnected from the Lord, . . .To be spiritually asleep is to be weak and vulnerable to the wiles of the adversary; to be spiritually asleep is to miss the move/the movements of God in and for our lives. . WAKE UP, Church!
Wake up spiritually and see the Glory of the Lord! When we see God’s Glory, then we can truly worship God in Spirit & truth. . .When we become fully awake, we can hear the voice of God. . . Wake up, Church! We’ve got work to do!.
