The Cass County Honor Guard participated in the Memorial Day Parade. Pastor Jim led everyone in prayer and Tom Schoenradt was one of the veterans who fired the rifle.

We recently lost one of our own, who went home to be with our Lord. Betty Jean 'Jeannie' Starkey was the backbone to our church and taught many children for several years in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Jeannie loved to sing and lead the children in choruses. She was active in our lady's group, The Grace Belles, and if we needed her help anywhere, she was always there. We're going to miss Jeannie. She was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. We were blessed with her presence.

Due to the cold snap moving through the area this weekend, and additional snow, we have decided to put our Christmas program and luncheon off until Sunday the 21st. We are still planning on our regular church service this Sunday, but everything else will be moved to next Sunday.

Today we honored our Veterans. From left to right: Tom Schoenradt, Carl 'Berk' Berkshire, Tim Michael, Pastor Jim Zimmerman, Harold Howell, Randy Zimmerman, Ron Nolte, Bob Bannon. The service included special music by Nancy McKinley, Penny Bannon, and Pastor Jim. It also included a video tribute of our loved ones who served our country. Following the morning worship service, we held a pizza buffet in their honor. We're proud of these gentlemen and we thank them for their service in keeping our country safe and free.
