Dan Anderson serves as a worship leader at Heritage Church of the Nazarene with a passion for creating Christ-centered worship experiences that draw people closer to God. With a heart for ministry and a love for the local church, he has led worship in various churches, revivals, and campmeetings in Iowa, WV and Ohio. Dan is honored to be part of this year’s SCO Nazarene Campmeeting and looks forward to worshiping together as a community of faith.

We are celebrating with Sarah (and Colin) Maffett at her recent ordination at the SCO District Assembly! Pastor Sarah serves as Family Life Pastor at Columbus West Broad Church of the Nazarene. We asked Pastor Sarah, 'what does being ordained mean to you?' This was her response:

Ordination is a celebration of all that God has done in my life and ministry, and a commissioning to continue pursuit of God's call. It means having the support and affirmation of my calling from the church leadership around the world. It is a commitment to God to give my life in service to His church, and a commitment to the church of the Nazarene in ministry. I am grateful for this calling from God and for my global Nazarene family!

We are celebrating those individuals who were ordained at the SCO District Assembly. Pastor Brett Dillinger (Emma) serves as Children's Pastor at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene. We asked Pastor Brett 'what does being ordained mean to you?' Here was his response:

To me, being ordained means that my call from God to lead and minister to His people has been recognized and confirmed by the Church of the Nazarene. It means that I now share a mission with pastors of God's Church all around the world to share the gospel of Christ and to make disciples. It means that I have been commissioned to preach the Word, equip the saints, and care for others. It is a high call, and one that is an honor to receive. All glory to God, our Father.
