At Vintage Church, we kick things into gear after Vision Sunday on January 28th. Here is a list of events/ministry opportunities coming up:

LEADERSHIP COHORT INTEREST MEETING - We are starting our second year of Leadership Cohort in February. We're having an informational meeting on January 24th at 6:00pm. Cohort is a 12-month discipleship and leadership development program.

FRIDAY NIGHT FIRE - Unite Men's Regional Ministry is hosting an event on January 26th at Vintage Church. Dinner is at 5:30pm ($10). The Event starts at 7:00pm.

BREAD OF LIFE - We're hosting our monthly grocery distribution with Bread of Life on Saturday, January 27th between 9:00-11:00am. Community Service Team is providing a FULL breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. Get here early!

VISION SUNDAY & ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING - The last Sunday in January is always Vision Sunday at Vintage Church, followed by our Annual Business Meeting. We're also having a ALL CHURCH potluck on January 28th.

GC GROUPS - We want everyone cultivated in gospel community. We have two GC Groups kicking beginning soon. Format is simple: Eat together. Learn together. Pray together. Serve together. We have one for Young Marrieds & Engaged and a Multi-generational Group.

MEN & WOMEN BIBLE STUDIES - In February, we're kicking of Bible Studies. Women's Bible Study starts February 6th at either 10:00am or 6:00pm (w/ 7:00pm Zoom Option). We're studying Sermon on the Mount with Jen Wilkin. Men's Bible Study is every Saturday at 8:00am. On February 4th, we're starting Gospel-Centered Life.

***Many of you that like this page felt the impact from the mission and ministry at Lodi Community Church. We’d love you to come back and see what God is doing now and celebrate what God has done over the last 75 years***

CELEBRATE 75 Years of MISSION & MINISTRY at 444 Turner Road this Sunday at 10:00am. Come and see what God has done in and through Lodi Community Church and now Vintage Church. We’ll hear from Nancy Miller (who’s worshipped here for 70+ years) as well as others who’ve experienced the irresistible life of Jesus on the corner of California and Turner. After service, we’ll have a good ol’ fashion fried chicken lunch. Bring someone with you. It’s going to be a great Sunday!!!

For those who aren’t following Vintage Church, but may know Stanley.

It is with a heavy heart and yet, with unshakable hope, I'm letting you know that Stanley Williams has passed away on July 5, 2022. After his wife passed away, Stanley planted these six vines (pictured below) in her honor that still bear fruit at 444 W. Turner Road. He was a kind, compassionate and loving man. Stanley was a pillar at Lodi Community Church. For these last two years, I’ve personally admired his generous spirit, passion for Jesus and steadfast and faithful work-ethic. His presence loomed large on Sunday mornings. He was eager to serve and loved hearing the gospel again and again. He didn’t miss Saturday morning men’s Bible study and breakfast. He would say again and again, “it’s all about Jesus and having a relationship with Him.” At 91 years, I admired his hunger and thirst for Jesus. He has left big shoes to fill as we learn from his example on what it means to “abide to abound.”

This Sunday at Vintage Church, we will hold a lunch in his honor to remember his life and ministry after the 10:00am service.

Join us tomorrow at 10:00am as we celebrate 73 years of ministry and mission at 444 W Turner Road in Lodi!!! After service, we will have fried chicken, fixings and cake in the fellowship hall!!! 🎂🎉😁

Church Family,

Tom Unger has passed away, peacefully, early this morning, and is now free of pain and suffering in the presence of Jesus. Tom was a faithful steward of the church, serving in many roles over the years. He strived to honor his Dad's legacy and see the church built and cared for. I am personally thankful for his support and encouragement. I had looked forward to working with him, but he has finished his race and his reward is in heaven.

More details will be forthcoming about the memorial service. With Covid-19, it will be limited. Please pray for Barbara. She poured out her heart and service in these last days. Pray for her strength, comfort and wisdom as she must finalize the details in a very unusual time.

Join us this Sunday, December 20th at 5:00pm for “Christmas in the Courtyard.” We will be singing Christmas hymns, remembering the birth of Christ and reflecting on 2020.
