We are so grateful to Rev. Dr. Leanne Wade (DSF/PSR, M.Div. '06) for this tender and deeply moving reflection for Holy Monday that reminds us why every day of Holy Week matters.

As a bivocational pastor and hospice music therapist, Rev. Dr. Wade brings a profound understanding of anticipatory grief to Mary's anointing of Jesus — and invites us to slow down, feel the weight of the week, and not rush past the sacred, heavy moments between Palm Sunday and Easter.
