Our Clothe My Sheep ministry will be giving away clothes again this Saturday, October 26th. Doors open from 9-11 @ 320 Medina St. Lodi Ohio. We've switched over to Fall and Winter clothing, including coats, hats, scarves etc. We have clothing from baby to Adult XL.
There are no requirements or restrictions. This is a pay-it-forward ministry offered to the community.

We are giving away clothes again! Every month we open our doors to give away clothes without requirements, or restrictions. This is an outreach mission meant to help any in need in the area. We have rotated our stock and moved to Spring and Summer clothing. We also have a lot of Men's clothing this month, but offer clothing for babies, children and adults. The racks are full, and we are blessed! Doors open from 9-11.

Raise The Roof!!
A pillar in the community for more than 100 years, the First United Methodist Church in Lodi, Ohio, needs your help. Our church roof is leaking! We’ve tried to patch to no avail and have four areas of damage in our beautiful building. We have no choice--we must replace the roof. Multiple estimates were gathered. Unfortunately, the lowest came in at a staggering $32,000. We have some financial resources but fall far short of the amount needed to start the replacement at the end of March. We need to raise $27,000.

Although Sunday services and Bible studies are a crucial part of the church, reaching beyond our walls is equally important. The Lodi UMC church and its congregation have worked tirelessly for decades to be a partner in the community and continue to do so despite the needed repairs.

• Two free drive- through meals are offered monthly: One
hosted by Lodi Hospital and one hosted by the Lodi UMC church. On average, 60-80 families are fed at each of these meals.

• Clothing is given away the last Saturday of each month to anyone in need. There are no requirements or restrictions. In the last two months, 78 families have come in to shop.

• Alcohol Anonymous uses the building every Wednesday night and has for years.

• LifeScreening a medical clinic uses the building to provide lifesaving testing

• The Medina County Health Department holds immunization clinics at the church

• The Church often partners with Good Samaritans in Lodi to offer critical food distribution

• The Women in Faith group raises funds and awareness for multiple mission projects

Pledge cards and appeals have been sent to our congregation, but we must do other fundraising as soon as possible to meet the goal. We will be approaching various local businesses to determine if we can partner in events. We share this flier in hopes that the community may have ideas or feel compelled to donate.
