Starting on March 3rd we will be recording the entire 8 am worship service at Zion Leeds. The entire service will be uploaded online the Monday after worship. This new system is going to replace the recorded sermons that are normally uploaded the Friday beforehand. We understand that this may cause some difficulties when wanting to watch or listen to worship from home that Sunday. To solve this concern, we are looking for volunteers who would be willing to upload the recording immediately following 8 am worship. If interested, please speak with one of the pastors.

St. Paul writes, “Don’t you know that all of us who were
baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?”
(Romans 6:3). There is a connection between our baptism
and Christ’s passion. This makes Lent the perfect season to
learn anew all that which God’s Word tells us about
Baptism. We will see how we were powerfully connected in
our baptism to all Christ’s saving work. We will study again
what our baptism means for our daily lives. And we will
rededicate ourselves to the struggle of living the new life
Baptism gives.
Join us for our upcoming midweek Lent series: Baptized into
His Death.

Our mid-week Lenten worship services are on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm & 7:00 pm and located at Zion in Leeds
with a dinner at 6:00pm in the fellowship hall.

Thank you to Steven Paskey and Charlie Piper for opening up the wood workshop yesterday, giving us the tour and explaining many different tools to shape and form wood. It was fantastic! Then afterwards, taking our pine blocks to make pine cars was the cherry on top! We are looking forward to the Pine Car Derby on March 10 here at Zion in Leeds with a taco lunch at 12:30 and the derby afterwards. Everyone is welcome to join us!

Temptation approaches us all.
What shall we do?

Today we hear how Jesus was tempted in the desert for 40 days. We can learn a lot about how to fight against temptation from Jesus. We can also learn a lot about how to focus on the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ despite all of the distractions and temptations that come our way.
