WHO ARE WE?
'Different' may be the best word to describe us. We probably don't do things like most churches do, but that's ok because God didn't call us to be like other churches; He called us to be obedient to Him. If you are looking for a church where everything is perfect and the seats are filled with well-dressed, care-free people who have it all together, then this is probably not the right p

lace for you. However, if you are looking for a group of real people who are interested in sharing the love of Jesus with the hurting world around them, then you might just find something very refreshing here. WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
- God
God is the creator and ruler of everything. He has always existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1,26,27, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 Peter 1:2)
- Man
Man is made in the image of God. Although God created man to fellowship with Him, we became separated from Him through disobedience. Not only did we cause a separation between us and God, we are unable to restore fellowship with Him on our own. (Genesis 1:27, Isaiah 53:6a, Isaiah 59:1-2, Romans 3:23, Colossians 1:21)
- Eternity
Man was designed to exist forever with God, but there is a problem. Fellowship between God and man has been broken, so we begin to see why we so desperately need to be rescued. There are only two possible future destinations: forever in fellowship with God, or forever separated from God. (John 3:16, Romans 6:23, 1 John 2:25, 1 John 5:11-13, Revelation 20:15)
- Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is God. He lived a sinless life in human form for the purpose of paying for all of our mistakes. He was humiliated, tortured, and murdered in our place through His death on the cross. Three days later, He came back to life and came out of the grave forever demonstrating that He has power over death. He later returned to heaven and will return again to earth in full power and glory as the King of kings. (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5,14, John 14:10-31, Acts 1:9-11, Romans 1:3-4, 1 Corinthians 15:3-6, 1 Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13, Hebrews 4:14-15, Revelation 22:12-16)
- Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God to man. It is impossible for man to pay the high price required to restore fellowship with God; being good is not enough, religion is not enough, nothing we have or can do is enough. God knew that we couldn't fix this on our own, so He did the only thing that He could do, He sacrificed His Son Jesus to pay the price for our mistakes. Jesus died to give each of us the choice of living in fellowship with God or not. Only by trusting in Jesus as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from the death grip of sin's penalty. (John 1:12, John 14:6, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5)
- The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for salvation through Jesus. For the believer, His indwelling presence is our guarantee that we are in right standing with God. He is also our teacher and our source of power from God. (John 14:16-17, John 16:7-15, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 1:13-14)
- The Bible
The Bible is God's Word to all mankind. It was penned by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate source of truth for all matters relating to life. (Psalm 119:105, Psalm 119:160, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
- Religion
Religion in and of itself cannot save you. In fact, often times religion and religious service may give you a false sense of security in regards to eternity. Religious activities such as going to church, giving of your time and money, helping others in need, reading your bible, etc, do not ensure that you are in right standing with God. These are things that people who are in right standing with God will do, but doing them is not what causes us to be in right standing. Many religious people will no doubt find themselves in the lake of fire because they never took the time to develop a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. It's not about religion, but it's all about a relationship with Jesus. (1 Samuel 16:7, Matthew 7:21-23, John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-10, James 1:22-27)

NEXT STEPS
- Jesus
Every journey begins with a single step and the road to God is no different. The first and most important step is to begin a personal relationship with Jesus. You do this by simply believing that Jesus is God's Son, asking Him to forgive you of your sin, submitting your will to His, and trusting Him with your life. It's awesome to experience God's love through Jesus, but I must warn you that it will radically change your life (in a good way of course). If you would like to talk to someone about starting a relationship with Jesus or if you have other related questions, please send us a message to [email protected].
- Baptism
The Bible teaches that baptism is the next step for the believer after starting a personal relationship with Jesus. Baptism is basically just a way to tell the world that you have yielded your life to Jesus and that you are following Him. If you are interested in being baptized or have questions about baptism, please send a message to [email protected].
- Discover
We consider every person at NewLife to be an integral part of our mission, so we want to make sure that you are fully aware of our vision, our goals, our methods, and even our expectations of you. The best way to discover the details of what we are all about is to simply attend one of our NewLife Discovery classes. If you are interested in attending, please send a message to [email protected].
- Commit
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstance permits. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses and the end result is great success. At NewLife, commitment means more than just showing up on Sunday morning. We expect you to actively participate in worship, to give of yourself and your resources, to live your life full of integrity and honor, in short, we expect you to go all out for Jesus because anything else is just lame.
- Connect
We want to help you to grow and mature spiritually, and one great way to do that is through attending a LifeGroup. These small group settings provide an interactive atmosphere where you can both share and ask questions contributing to the spiritual development of everyone in the group. Satan hates for belivers to connect with other believers, so why not stick it to him by visiting the LifeGroup page and making a life changing connection today.
- Volunteer
Being a volunteer at NewLife is an awesome experience. You have the opportunity to make a difference in this world while serving Jesus with like-minded brothers and sisters. Yes, sometimes the work is hard and it definitely requires personal sacrifices, but the rewards are incredible. There is just something special about being a part of this team, so if you are ready to step up and accept the challenge, check out the Volunteer page for available opportunities for you to serve.
