To our Troop 41 family: finding the right words to say at this time are incredibly difficult. When the news that Tucker needed our prayers came in this page became a sense of comfort and memories for many as we looked back at pictures and so many memories came flooding back of Tucker. We could always count on Tucker to volunteer for every Scout event. I honestly can’t remember any event in which he wasn’t there, with his family beside him, helping his fellow Scouts and his community. Tucker did so many amazing things in his life, and we are so proud to have been a part of his growing up. To be beside him in so many events from hard work to Boy Scout cold weather campouts, to Boy Scout Summer camps, to him earning his Eagle Scout. Tucker truly lived by the Boy Scout Law, and he took the Boy Scout Oath very seriously, both of which he carried with him as he moved on to adulthood and succeeded in all he set his mind to. May the memories comfort us all, may love surround his family and friends, and may we all do our best to

Several people have inquired lately as to where they can take flags to be retired since the troop is no longer holding retirement ceremonies. The American Legion in Lockwood will take them, just contact Penni White at Town & Country Tire and she will take care of them. Or there is a drop box at the American Legion in Greenfield.

A big congratulations to Troop 41’s newest Eagle Scout-Haiden Queen! Tonight was his Eagle Scout Board of Review and all went wonderfully!

Haiden is Lennis’ youngest grandson, and the final Eagle Scout in a long line of Eagle Scouts that were mentored by Lennis. It was Lennis’ dream that all 6 of his grandson’s would achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, and tonight that dream was completed! A big congratulations to Haiden & family!

Haiden Queen is wrapping up his Eagle Scout project this week! Haiden had big plans for the old Boy Scout Camping Trailer and he has worked very hard to revamp it and turn it into a band instrument trailer for the Lockwood Tigers Marching Band. Scouting and Band have always been two of Haiden’s favorite things so what a perfect project for him! A big thanks to everyone who has helped by donations of time and/or finances! His Eagle Scout Review will be scheduled soon! Stay tuned for pictures of that!

We would like to congratulate troop 41’s newest Eagle Scout-Mr. Tucker Berry. Tucker has been an joy to mentor over the years. Alongside his parents we could always count on Tucker to volunteer for almost every scout event. Tucker wowed the Eagle Scout Review Board tonight during his Board of Review. He is a very driven individual and we know he will go far!

The Eagle Scout rank is an elite and honored achievement. Only 2% of Boy Scouts earn this rank. Tuckers Eagle Scout project benefited his community and school and was very well thought out, planned, and implemented.

Congratulations Tucker!

We are very proud of Tucker Berry for completing his Eagle Scout project! Tucker planned, coordinated, and implemented two ways to bring pride to the Lockwood High School by giving the paw prints on Tiger Pride Drive a fresh new coat of paint, and by installing a flag pole at the baseball field! What a wonderful way to give back to his community! We are very proud of you Tucker! His Eagle Scout Board of Review date is pending at this time but we know he will do great! Thank you Tucker for being such a great example in Scouting!
