Loving God, as strong weather moves through our communities, we pause to breathe and trust in Your care. Be close to those who feel afraid, keep safe those in harm's way, and surround all who are helping others with strength and compassion. Amen.

The summer planting for the Celebration Garden is done for now. Thanks to those who put in the work prepping the space, those who planted, and those who donated plants and garden ornaments.

This will be an ongoing process. We look forward to creating a space where the congregation and community can come to walk, pray, or simply enjoy the beauty of nature.

Almighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping those who serve in our armed forces at home and abroad. As we remember this Memorial Day all those who sacrificed themselves for our nation’s ideals, defend with your heavenly grace all who risk themselves in these times; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
