Worship in the Woods

Worship in the Woods Worship in the Woods takes place at the outdoor worship chapel at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Lockport, NY. It was dedicated in the spring of 2002.

The chapel was created in 2001-2002 as an Eagle Scout project. The chapel features rows of pews, but most people bring a lawn chair. There is a large rustic cross standing directly behind the altar. Three beautiful flower beds surround the chapel. The services are contemporary and "come as you are". Services feature a live singing group and two guitars.
