Work is a God-given calling through which we serve our families, strengthen our communities, and reflect the industrious nature of our Creator, yet our ultimate identity, peace, and security will never be found in the hours we log, the titles we hold, or the productivity we achieve, but in who we are as His children. Heavenly Father, on this Labor Day, we lift up every worker in our congregation and surrounding community, thanking You for the daily breath, energy, and talents You bestow upon us to carry out our duties. We ask that You bless the labor of our hands—whether spent in fields, on waters, on job sites, behind desks, in classrooms, in medical facilities, or in the quiet care of our homes—and grant us patience, integrity, and safety in all our undertakings. Lord, draw near to those who are weary, heavy-laden, or struggling under the weight of burnout, providing them with deep, restorative rest for their bodies and minds. We pray with special urgency for those in our midst who are facing job loss, career transitions, or financial strain; open doors of provision that no man can shut, grant them favor, and fill them with unwavering hope as they wait upon You. Remind us all that our daily tasks have eternal value when done for Your glory, and teach us to balance faithful diligence with the sacred grace of Sabbath rest, trusting that You hold our lives and futures securely in Your hands. “And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” — Psalm 90:17 (KJV)

Attention, ladies! We invite you to gather for a heart-warming afternoon filled with delicious food, great conversation, and sweet fellowship at our upcoming Ladies' "Soup" Luncheon on September 26th at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is encouraged to whip up a batch of their favorite soup or dessert to share—whether that’s a beloved family recipe passed down through generations, a savory seasonal classic, or a fun new dish you've been eager to test out—and if you can't bring a pot, simply bring yourself and enjoy the fantastic spread! It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, reconnect with friends, greet new faces, and share a comforting meal as a community. Be sure to mark your calendars, invite a friend or neighbor. We look forward to sharing this special time and tasting all of your wonderful recipes!

We want to take a moment to shine a light on Mrs. Carol and thank her for the incredible encouragement she brings to our church family. If you've ever received one of her thoughtful cards or a kind note in the mail, you know just how special she is and how faithfully she looks out for others. Sending out these cards truly is a special ministry she provides for the Lord's glory, and we are so grateful for her heart and her constant love!
