Thank you to everyone who came out to see the new improvements to our Youth Center during our Back-to-School Distribution! We pray that every child received everything they needed to start the school year off strong. 📚✏️

We also have extra school supplies and materials available for anyone who may still need them. Feel free to stop by during our office hours:

We’re excited about what God is doing in our Youth Center and in the lives of the young people we serve. 🙏

A LITTLE APOLOGY TO OUR VBS PARENTS…

To all of our ROAR VBS parents… we just want to say we’re sorry. 😂

If your child came home this week bouncing off the walls, talking a mile a minute, or suddenly having an impressive amount of energy right before bedtime… we may have something to do with that. 👀🍬

We might’ve sent your kids home a little… okay, maybe a LOT… sugared up! 😂

But in our defense, we were celebrating an amazing week of VBS! 🦁❤️

Parents, please accept our sincerest apologies… and maybe hide the candy from us next year. 😂🍭🦁

WHAT A SUNDAY! ❤️🙏🏾

What a beautiful way to celebrate the end of ROAR VBS! We were blessed with an increase in attendance this morning, and it was such a joy to see our church filled with familiar faces, new faces, families, and so much energy! 🙌

Our VBS kids did an amazing job sharing what they learned throughout the week through their ROAR VBS presentation. Watching them sing, participate, and boldly share the message of God’s goodness was such a blessing! 🥹🦁

And today, we were reminded once again that GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! ✝️

God is good. All the time. And all the time, God is good!

🦁 DAY 5 — WHEN LIFE IS GOOD, GOD IS GOOD! 🦁

What a way to finish an incredible week of ROAR VBS! ❤️

Today we learned that when life is good, God is good! And throughout this entire week, we’ve learned so much about the goodness, love, and faithfulness of our God.

It has truly been a blessing to have such a lovely group of kids with us this week! Watching them laugh, learn, worship, and grow has been such a joy. 🥹🦁

Thank you to all of our parents, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this week so special!

When life changes… God is good.
When life is scary… God is good.
When life is unfair… God is good.
When life is sad… God is good.
And when life is good… God is good!

🦁 WHAT A WAY TO END THE WEEK! 🦁

ROAR VBS has officially come to an end, and what an incredible week it has been! ❤️ We’ve laughed, played, worshiped, learned, and—yes—probably sent a few kids home with a little too much of a sugar rush before drop-off. 😂🍭 Parents, you’ve been warned!

But the fun isn’t over yet! 🎓

📣 VBS GRADUATION IS THIS SUNDAY!
Join us during our 11:00 AM Sunday Service as we celebrate all that our ROAR kids have learned throughout the week!

🦁 DAY 4 OF ROAR VBS! 🦁

When life is sad… GOD IS GOOD! ❤️🙏

Last night, we were reminded that even when our hearts are hurting, we are never alone. God is right there with us in our sadness, bringing comfort, hope, and reminding us of His unfailing love. 🥹💛

Another incredible night filled with worship, Bible stories, games, crafts, laughter, and so many smiling faces! 🦁🌿

We’re so thankful for what God is doing in the hearts of our kids throughout this week!

When life is sad, we can still trust that God is good. 🙌

🚚 Mobile Food Distribution at The Salvation Army of Lockport! ❤️

Every 3rd Thursday of the month from 10:30 AM–1:00 PM, we welcome families in our community to our Mobile Food Distribution.

We are blessed to serve over 120 families each month with nutritious food and a helping hand. 🥫🍎

Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and everyone who helps make this ministry possible. Together, we’re Doing the Most Good right here in Lockport! ❤️

Please come in and register provide to distribution day! If it’s your first time that fine, we won’t send you home empty handed! WALKERS ARE WELCOME AS WELL!
