GBC Family,

The church property has been without power since yesterday’s storm. We have no damage, just no power. With another round of storms coming through now, it doesn’t look like power will be restored by this evening’s service. I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel service this evening. I’m praying for God’s protection on your homes and places of business through the day.

I would encourage you to find a service of another Baptist church to livestream this evening, or even attend, if you’re able. There are many good options for livestream and attendance somewhat nearby, such as Northwest Bible Baptist Church in Elgin, IL; Faith Baptist Church in Bourbonnais, IL; and First Baptist Church in Dwight, IL to name a few.

Please help me spread the word to those who are not on Facebook. I love you all and will miss you this evening. See you Sunday!

We had a great turn out to help with our last Bible Giveaway of the year! Praise the Lord for all the Bibles we have been able to hand out this year!

Another wonderful week of Vacation Bible School in the books! We were thankful to host 60 kids this week, with 5 of them trusting Christ as their Savior. We are thankful for all of those who prayed and worked hard to make the week a success!

We represented Grace Baptist Church in the annual Old Canal Days Parade in town. We were able to pass out hundreds of Vacation Bible School flyers! Please pray that we’ll see fruit from that outreach.

What beautiful weather today to celebrate our church’s 41st anniversary! We thank God for what He has done, and we anticipate what He will do for Grace Baptist Church.

What an incredible day in church! We’re thankful for almost 200 in attendance, 15 visitors, three saved, and one baptized. All of our kids and teens enjoyed the annual egg hunt as well. Praise the Lord for His goodness!

Please come worship our RISEN Savior at Grace Baptist Church this Easter Sunday, April 20th! We will sing His praises and preach His Word, and we'd love for you to join us for the 11 AM service.

Immediately following the service, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for all kids and teenagers.
