Good evening church. I just spoke with Linda and she wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers today. She's feeling much better now.

And as we all know, we've seen several under attack recently. Let's purpose to be intentional about holding one another up in prayer! Now more than ever. Amen?

What a weekend!! We enjoyed a wonderful women's fellowship rally with our Director of Women's Ministry Margaret Cox on Saturday. Several of our Motherlode churches were represented along with a surprise visit by our District Presbyters Pastors John & Lori Thomas of Bethel Island.
Then today, on Palm Sunday we were blessed to hear our District Bishop Lonnie Cox speak. "If I believe with all my heart that God is good, then God will be good, to me". We love and enjoy our Bishops so much. We are blessed!

Bishop’s Friday Blog: ASK ANYWAY!!!
It is obvious that Jesus already knew what blind Bartimaeus wanted (see Mark 10:46-52). But Jesus made him ASK ANYWAY! “What do you want me to do for you?” Bartimaeus said “Lord, that I might receive my sight.” And Jesus said unto him, “Go thy way; thy FAITH hath made thee whole.” And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. Jesus made him ASK ANYWAY!

It should be obvious to you that Jesus already knows what you want… what you need… before you ask. But, as an expression and exercise of your FAITH; ASK ANYWAY!

Jesus said to YOU in Matthew 7:7-8 KJV, “ASK, and it shall be given YOU; seek, and YE shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto YOU: For every one that ASKETH RECEIVETH (the “eth” means everyone who ASKS and KEEPS ON ASKING, will RECEIVE and KEEP ON RECEIVING); and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

That means YOU! Like Blind Bartimaeus, Jesus wants you to ASK ANYWAY! Amen.

UPDATE apparently Clayton's had a few mini strokes. They say he is actively experiencing one now. He's alert and of course wants to go home. Not sure if they're going to keep him or not. Please continue praying for him and Jean Ann. She's tough but these things take their toll on you 😥. Thank you everyone! God's got this!!

📣📣 Please pray for Clayton. He was having some trouble lifting his leg this morning and had a bit of confusion. Jean Ann is taking him to get checked out now. Thank you!
