Today members of the Greater Detroit Area Operation Christmas Child team came to Alpha to do a prayer walk. We covered the sanctuary, the Family Life Center and the parking lot in prayer, in preparation for being a central drop site!

I love seeing the families walking their kiddos to the first day of school, or gathered at the bus stop. Join me in praying for these families; the children who may be happily excited or anxious and nervous at their first day. Pray for the parents as they let go of their precious gifts from God. And let us not forget the teachers who may be feeling the same as the students; ask God to touch their hearts in such a way that His love and glory will shine through. Finally, a hedge of protection around each and every school.
