Happy Mother's Day to all our mothers, grandmothers, and spiritual mothers! And Memory Eternal to our dear departed mothers! The St. Demetrios Brotherhood worked hard to prepare and serve an excellent brunch of bacon, fruit salad, and a variety of homemade quiches. In addition, they served mimosas and made boutonnières for all the women of the parish. Thank you for making the day special, fellas!

On Wednesday evening, we had the honor of hosting Dcn. Alexander Plyska as he presented a documentary about a monastic community on Mt. Athos that he co-produced entitled "Where Are You Adam?" We had over 70 folks come for the potluck and film screening! Thanks to Matushka Oksana for translating!

On this Feast Day of St. Alexis Toth, we were blessed to have Subdeacon Mark Alexiev with us, whose grandfather was baptized by the saint! Deacon Ioan has known Subdeacon Mark since childhood!
