Pastor Johnny walks us through Leviticus 11 which may seem like a chapter about strange food laws, but it reveals something much deeper: God was teaching His people how to distinguish between what is clean and unclean so they could reflect His holiness in the world. These distinctions reminded Israel that they belonged to God and were called to live differently from the nations around them. Ultimately, the chapter points us to Jesus Christ, who alone can make unclean sinners truly clean and empower us to live holy lives that display God's character.

In Leviticus 10, the celebration of Israel’s first priests suddenly turns tragic as Nadab and Abihu are consumed by God’s judgment for approaching Him on their own terms. This passage confronts us with the sobering reality that representing a holy God is serious business, comes at a cost, and essential. Yet through the failure of these priests, we see the hope of Jesus Christ — the perfect High Priest who faithfully represented God for us and made a way for sinners to approach Him with confidence.
