ANGIE WATSON, 89, passed away peacefully Friday, November 6, 2020. Angie was born on December 31, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas and Jennie Matthews, the first of their six children. Angie loved going to the movies, dancing (especially Jitterbugging), oil painting, and loved to shop. Her favorite thing to make for dinner was "reservations" ! With her husband, Jim, and family, Angie enjoyed traveling the world, making two trips to the Holy Land.
Angie is survived by her daughters, Kim (Mark) Laforet, Kelley Fulkerson, and Leslie (Jim) Herber; son-in-law, Doug Fulkerson; siblings, Dave Matthews, Arlene (Doug) Perenchio, Anita (Jerry) Buie; brother-in-law, Hubert Summers; grandchildren, Kelly (Tim) Lebel, Heather (Jon) Stine, Erin (Joe) Klinger, Troy (Elisabeth) Fulkerson, Donny (Regina) Herber, Sam Herber; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jonah and Joshua Stine, Brooke and Audrey Lebel, Paige Klinger, Olivia and Elizabeth Herber and Baby Girl Herber due in February 2021. Also survived by special friend, Franco Giannangeli.
In addition to her parents, Angie was predeceased by her husband, Jim; son Jamie; siblings, Barbara Summers and Jeanette Aubuchon; sister-in-law, Ruby Matthews; brother-in-law, Jerry Aubuchon.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Noon, at Open Arms Church, 33015 W Seven Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.
