It’s only the middle of the week, but look how far God has already brought you.

Some prayers are being answered.
Some battles are being fought for you.
Some blessings are still on the way.

Don’t let one hard moment make you forget how faithful God has been. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is never late.

Today, Sanctuary of Hope celebrates our heritage and reflects on the foundation that has made us a cornerstone in the Livingston community.

The Pentecostal movement has been part of Livingston since the early 1900s, faithfully sharing the Gospel and impacting lives throughout our community.

On June 1, 1949, one of our earliest congregations officially became part of the United Pentecostal Church International as Emanuel United Pentecostal Church, located on Highway 146 toward Providence. The church later moved to its current location on South Washington Avenue.

As we look back on the faith, sacrifice, and dedication of those who came before us, we are reminded of all God has done through this church. Through the years, we have gone by different names, but our mission has remained the same: to be a Sanctuary of Hope for Livingston and a shining light in our community.

We thank God for our rich heritage and look forward with faith and expectation to all He has in store for the future.

Happy Anniversary, Sanctuary of Hope!
