GOD NEVER FORSAKES THE RIGHTEOUS - September 7th, 2026
Psalms 37:24-26

Psalms 37:25 (NIV) “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.”

Beloved,
Psalm 37 presents a clear contrast between the righteous and the wicked. David acknowledges that the wicked may sometimes appear to prosper and even advance ahead of the righteous. However, he warns the righteous not to envy them, because the prosperity of the wicked is temporary, while the faithfulness of God towards the righteous endures forever.

Righteousness does not exempt us from adversity. The righteous may stumble, experience difficult seasons, suffer setbacks, or even be cast down. But there is a difference between being cast down and being destroyed. David says, “Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.”

The righteous may go through the fire, but they will not go through it alone. They may experience difficult seasons, but they will never be abandoned by God. David's declaration in verse 25 is particularly powerful: “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken.” He was speaking from a lifetime of experience. He had experienced battles, rejection, persecution, betrayal, wilderness seasons, and many other challenges. Yet, after all he had been through, he could still testify to the faithfulness of God.

David was convinced that God does not abandon those who walk with Him. One of the evidences of this faithfulness is seen in the character of the righteous. The righteous are generous and lend freely. Even in difficult seasons, they have developed a lifestyle of generosity. Their lives become channels through which God's goodness reaches others.

This generosity also has a generational impact. The righteous do not merely live for themselves; their lives become a blessing to their children and those who come after them. Their righteousness, generosity, wisdom, relationships, and faith can become a legacy that speaks for generations.

Therefore, when adversity comes, we should not conclude that God has abandoned us. The righteous may fall, but they will not be forsaken. They may be pressed, but they will not be destroyed. They may pass through difficult seasons, but the hand of the Lord will continue to uphold them.

If God has been faithful in the past, He will remain faithful in the present and in the future.

KEY LESSON
Righteousness does not guarantee a life without adversity; it guarantees that God will never abandon the righteous in adversity.

FAITH DECLARATION
I will walk in righteousness, live generously, and become a blessing to my generation. The faithfulness of God will sustain me, preserve me, and speak for me and my household, in Jesus' name.

PRAYER STARTER
Father, let every issue of begging, struggling, and borrowing be terminated in my life and family, in the name of Jesus Christ.

LET'S TALK ABOUT IT
In what ways can we demonstrate to people around us that righteousness pays?

WARFARE FOR RECOVERY - September 3rd, 2026
1 Samuel 30:17-19

1 Samuel 30:17 “David and his men rushed in among them and slaughtered them throughout that night and the entire next day until evening. None of the Amalekites escaped except 400 young men who fled on camels.”

Beloved,
Readiness for warfare is one of the major steps to total recovery. Are you prepared for total recovery? Your preparation for total recovery must include your readiness to fight for your stuff. Total recovery does not answer to fanfare but comes through the means of intensive warfare. David knew the rule of the game, and he had prepared his men for warfare.

They did not go to the camp of the enemy for any form of negotiation; they went to take their stuff. The Bible says, “David and his men rushed in among them and slaughtered them throughout that night and the entire next day until evening. None of the Amalekites escaped except 400 young men who fled on camels.” David and his men attacked them throughout the night.

How many times have you prayed throughout the night, concerning the ongoing issue in your life? I know it is good to pray during the day, and God answers prayer any time of the day. But the Lord Jesus revealed to us that the enemy carries out their wicked activities while men slept.

When dealing with the enemy of your destiny, you need to rise up in the night and wreak some havoc on their operation in your life, through intense spiritual warfare. David fought with flesh and blood, but you are fighting with principalities and power, rulers of the darkness of this age, spiritual host of wickedness, in the heavenly places,-the unseen forces from hell.

Praise God! Your weapons are adapted to the manner of your warfare. They are not carnal, but mighty through God into pulling down strongholds and casting down imagination, and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, in your life. Don’t let the Amalekites rob you of your stuff, rise up in prayer against them, the Lord of Host is on your side, your victory is sure, and your recovery is guaranteed, in the name of Jesus Christ.

KEY LESSON
Readiness for warfare is one of the major steps, to total recovery.

FAITH DECLARATION
I am always ready for battle, and I am fit for victory! I am equipped, empowered, and strengthened by the Lord. The weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. Therefore, I overpower, overthrow, and overcome every power contending with my inheritance. Every force resisting my advancement is broken. Every hand holding on to what belongs to me is forced to release it. I recover all that God has ordained for me, and nothing of my inheritance shall be lost. I walk in victory. I possess my inheritance. I recover all, in Jesus’ name.

THE RESTORER OF DESTINY -September 2nd, 2026
Job 14:7-15

Job 14:7 “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease” (KJV)

Beloved,
God is the restorer of destiny; He is an expert in restoring lost things. The promises and records of restoration in the Bible are so overwhelming. It would be wrong for anyone to think there is no hope just because he lost his dream. Lost dreams, marriages, ministries, even missed seasons are all within reach of God's mercy.

“There is hope for a tree if it be cut down, that it will sprout again and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” What Moses thought was wholly lost was restored to him after forty years of living without it. Job lost everything- family, finance, and fame were blown away, all in a day, but the Lord gave it back to him twice as much as he had before.

Jacob lost Joseph for more than thirteen years and never considered meeting him again, but the Restorer of destiny arranged the restoration of Joseph to Jacob. The lost ass of Saul’s father was restored; God brought it back home while Saul and his servant were busy searching for it.

There is nothing lost that is lost forever when the Lord is involved. What have you lost? Is there anything that the enemy has stolen from you? There is hope once there is life. They may have cut down your tree, but as long as your root is connected to the water of life, you will sprout again. Don’t let despair take over. Your story is not over. God is still writing the best chapters.

Those who are laughing at you now will be forced to laugh with you soon. The Restorer of destiny is at work on your case. Please learn to endure the ridicule while God is getting your miracle ready. Job said, “All through the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Your change is coming in Jesus’ name. Amen.

KEY LESSON
God is an expert in restoration. There is no loss He cannot recover, no damage He cannot repair, and no season He cannot redeem. His promise of restoration covers every need for restoration.

FAITH DECLARATION
I declare that I will sprout again. My destiny is not over. God is restoring me!

LET'S THINK ABOUT IT
What part of my life feels “cut down”? Where do I need to believe for restoration?

PRAYER STARTER
Father, I receive the strength to wait for my appointed time, in Jesus’ name.

SUJETS DE PRIÈRE POUR SEPTEMBRE 2026 - 31 août 2026
LA SAISON DE RESTAURATION DIVINE
Psaume 71,21 – « Tu augmenteras mon honneur, Tu me consoleras encore. »

INTRODUCTION

PRAYER POINTS FOR SEPTEMBER 2026 - August 31st, 2026
THE SEASON OF DIVINE RESTORATION
[Psalms 71:21 NLT] 21 You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to The Season of Divine Restoration. There are seasons when life seems to take away what we once held dear; opportunities are lost, dreams are delayed, relationships are broken, strength is diminished, and years seem to have slipped away. Yet, the God we serve is not only the God who preserves; He is the God who restores.
This month, we hear the prophetic voice of the Lord declaring that
restoration is coming. God is able to restore what has been lost, repair what has been broken, revive what has become dormant, and replenish what has been depleted. His restoration is not limited to returning us to where we were; He can bring us into a place of greater honour, greater strength, greater joy, and greater testimony.
The Psalmist declares, "You will restore me to even greater honor." This is our prophetic expectation in this season. What the enemy intended to use as a source of shame will become a testimony of God's faithfulness. What looked like an ending will become the beginning of a greater chapter. What was lost will not have the final word.
As we pray throughout this month, I encourage you to pray with renewed faith and expectation. Believe God for the restoration of wasted years, lost opportunities, broken relationships, diminished spiritual passion, delayed dreams, financial stability, family joy, and every good thing that has been stolen, damaged, or lost according to His will.
The God of restoration is visiting His people. I prophetically declare over you: May the Lord restore you to greater honour. May He restore your joy, renew your strength, revive your hope, and recover everything He has ordained for your life. May your latter season be greater than your former, and may your testimony cause you to look back and say, "Only the Lord could have done this!”
Welcome to The Season of Divine Restoration. Your restoration shall become your testimony, and your testimony shall become a testimony of the faithfulness of God.

HIS GOODNESS AND MERCY - August 28th, 2026
Psalms 23:1-6

Psalms 23:6 (NKJV) “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Beloved,
Have you ever experienced hospitality so warm and generous that it made you feel truly cared for and valued? Years ago, while serving on the mission field in Porto Novo, a Nigerian couple stayed with us. After a few days, when my wife asked what they wanted for breakfast, the man smiled and said, “You are treating us as if we are in a hotel.” Their words reminded me how deeply kindness and attentive care can touch the human heart.

This kind of hospitality reflects a glimpse of God’s own care for us. In Psalm 23, David uses the image of a shepherd to describe God’s tender provision and protection. Just as a shepherd looks after each sheep personally, guiding, feeding, and protecting, the Lord lovingly pursues us with goodness and mercy every day of our lives.

David’s confident declaration, “The Lord is my Shepherd,” assures us that God’s goodness and mercy are not distant or occasional. They actively follow us, guiding and restoring us even when we stray. This promise of continual care is available to everyone who chooses to follow Him.

Like sheep, we sometimes wander away and lose our way. Yet, God’s design includes a system of repentance and restoration; His goodness calls us back, and His mercy covers us. Without this, none of us could stand.

When we choose to put God first, we align ourselves with His blessings. His goodness leads us to repentance, and His mercy exempts us from the full consequences of our errors because mercy triumphs over judgment. This is the foundation of our hope and confidence as we walk through life’s challenges.

KEY LESSON
As a shepherd looks after each sheep personally, guiding, feeding, and protecting, the Lord lovingly pursues us with goodness and mercy every day of our lives.

FAITH DECLARATION
I declare today that God’s goodness and mercy pursue me relentlessly. I walk confidently in His grace, knowing He restores, protects, and leads me every step of the way. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever, enveloped by His love and faithfulness.

LET'S THINK ABOUT IT
How can you show God’s mercy and goodness to others in your daily life?

PRAYER STARTER
Father, thank You for Your unwavering goodness and mercy that follow me all my days. Help me to trust in Your restoration and walk boldly in Your grace, in Jesus’ name.

THE SON WHO REJECTED WISDOM - August 27th, 2026
2 Chronicles 10:4-8

2 Chronicles 10:8 (KJV) “But he forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood before him.

Beloved,
Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, became king after his father and was the first king of the divided kingdom of Judah. Unlike David and Solomon, he could not keep the whole nation together. The people approached him and promised to serve him if he would reduce the burden of servitude they had endured under his father.

Upon hearing this, Rehoboam called the elders who had served under his father for counsel, and they gave him the right counsel. However, he despised their counsel. The Bible says, “But he forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood before him.”

It is striking that, despite Solomon’s reputation as an icon of wisdom, Rehoboam demonstrated little evidence of the wisdom his father was known for. Solomon documented thousands of words of wisdom, and men and women of substance came from far countries to learn at his feet. Rehoboam, however, slept and woke up around wisdom, yet chose foolishness. He heard the right counsel but rejected it, which Solomon himself called foolishness: “A fool despises his father’s instruction” (Proverbs 15:5).

Rehoboam’s story reveals that coming from the house of wisdom does not automatically make you wise; neither does coming from a wealthy home make you wealthy. If a person does nothing to embrace the legacy of wisdom and the principles that produce wealth, he may continue in the path of foolishness and penury, regardless of his background.

Rehoboam lost ten out of the twelve tribes because he followed the wrong counsel of his contemporaries. Not everyone who knows you is qualified to counsel you, and not everyone who agrees with you is giving you wisdom. Whose counsel are you following?

Today, we have Jesus Christ, who is greater than Solomon (Matthew 12:42). We must therefore embrace His words and wisdom if we are to preserve and advance the kingdom entrusted into our hands. Wisdom around you cannot help you if you are unwilling to listen to it.

KEY LESSON
Wisdom is not inherited; it must be embraced. Being surrounded by wise people does not make us wise until we are humble enough to listen and obedient enough to follow godly counsel.

LET'S THINK ABOUT IT
How can we distinguish between right and wrong counsel, and what should we do when wise counsel contradicts what we want to hear?

FAITH DECLARATION
I receive the grace to recognize and follow godly counsel. I will not be deceived by counsel that appeals to my pride or selfish desires. I walk in the wisdom of God, and my decisions will produce peace, progress, and preservation. I will not repeat the mistakes of those who rejected wise counsel, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER STARTER
Father, give me the humility to recognize godly counsel and the wisdom to follow it. Restore whatever I have lost through wrong counsel, and help me never to repeat the same mistake, in Jesus’ name.
