The Prayer Quilt ministry collaborated with the Evangelism Ministry as part of their Not So Random act Of Kindness initiative to bestow a Prayer Quilt - to the Livingston Police Department. Each of our Prayer Quilts is infused with love and prayer as yarn is threaded through it and the members of our church tie knots while lifting up prayers. The one given to the police department was to remind them
they're surrounded by prayer, and wrapped in the love and compassion of our community. This beautiful Prayer Quilt was presented to the police department as a symbol of our deepest appreciation. Thank you to everyone that tied a knot and said a prayer

The Prayer Quilt ministry of Livingston First Methodist Church collaborated with the Evangelism Ministry as part of their Not So Random act Of Kindness initiative to bestow a heartfelt gift - a Prayer Quilt - to the Livingston Fire Department. Each of our Prayer Quilts is infused with love and prayer as yarn is threaded through it and the members of our church tie knots while lifting up prayers. Each recipient of a prayer quilt can feel the knots knowing each knot represent a prayer said for them to remind them they're surrounded by prayer, and wrapped in the love and compassion of our community. This beautiful Prayer Quilt was presented to the fire department as a symbol of our deepest appreciation. Thank you to everyone that tied a knot and said a prayer

Thank you to everyone that came to our craft sale. Livingston First Methodist Church knows how to show up and generously support this ministry. Thank you also to the outreach team and the children and youth ministry and the staff who supported us. We learned some things this year that will only make next year even better. Because of all of you and the talented, sweet ladies of the Prayer Quilt ministry, we can continue giving prayer quilts to those who are hurting.
