House of Mary Maternity Home Home Atmosphere: Everyone will chip in with cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, lawn care and anything else it takes to maintain a home.

House of Mary Mission

To equip, empower, and enable women to raise the “Timothy” generation.
“I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.” – 2 Timothy 1:5

By providing a welcoming, loving, and healthy home atmosphere to women and teenagers in crisis pregnancy situations that choose l

ife and love for the child. This will give the ladies real life experience of managing and maintaining a home, but with support from others at first. Classes: Bible, finances, budgeting, parenting, adoption, healthy cooking, nursing, birthing, social etiquette, couponing, daily health and hygiene for mom and baby. Extras: Counseling (self, baby’s father or family), mentors, discipleship, baby showers, transportation, tutors, encouragement and love. Connections: Church, work force, River of Life, WIC, and Medicaid. In the end resulting to an independent God seeking woman, who desires to provide more for her baby spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Thank you Rotary Club of Livingston, TX!

Last Thursday, our Rotary Club had the privilege of hearing from Sharayah Long, Resident Director of House of Mary, a maternity home serving pregnant women in our community.

House of Mary provides more than just housing—it offers a supportive family environment, life skills training, educational and employment assistance, parenting resources, spiritual encouragement, and a pathway toward independence for expectant mothers.

Currently serving up to three women at a time, the organization helps mothers prepare for parenthood while building a stable future for themselves and their children. Their vision includes expanding services through transitional housing, on-site counseling, and increased volunteer support.

Many of our members learned about House of Mary for the first time and were inspired by the life-changing work being done. To support their mission, our Rotary Club was honored to present a $500 donation to help provide for the needs of these mothers and babies.

Thank you, Sharayah, for sharing your heart and the important work being done at House of Mary. We appreciate all that you and your team do to provide hope, encouragement, and practical support to mothers and their children.
