we don't have to wonder how to have eternal life
โžก๏ธ we have a Holy Bible that tells us the way, the truth and the life is through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the son of God (John 14:6)

but before our New Testament gospels, people wondered how to get to the Kingdom of God.
โžก๏ธ People were following a Jewish law and sacrificing when they fell short, which was inevitable.

God knew our inability to keep his perfect law.
But still, there are those who believe themselves to be good people.
๐ˆ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก?

Did Jesus command this man to give up his riches because in order to go to heaven, we need to do that?

Jesus was teaching the man that the law required the impossible out of him.

Jesus asks us to humble ourselves, repent of our sins, acknowledge our need for a Savior, and accept his death on the cross as payment for our sins.

The man left his encouter with Jesus sad (Mark 10:22)
Selling all he had was a price too high to pay.
