NYHER Women is a sisterhood from every generation who come together to strengthen their relationship with Christ and be empowered for life.

NewYorkHER is the Women's Department of the NY Ministry Network. It is made up of women from all walks of life - credential holders, pastors’ wives, leaders and women from the local church. It is our intent to encourage and challenge every woman to live HER best life in Christ.

We are honored to have Gonny Maasbach with us! Gonny has ministered in churches and Bible schools in the US and internationally in Pakistan, India, Congo, Kenya, Brazil, Israel and Colombia. She served as women’s pastor for over 40 years in her local church and ministering to women is a calling and passion.

Gonny has been deeply shaped by her own seasons of loss, grief and restoration. Through the journey of great loss, the hope of heaven became an anchor she holds onto. Today, Gonny carries a relevant message of faith, hope and victory in Jesus.

Raising kids that don’t hate the church. Moms, we see the heart you carry for your children to grow up to love the House of God. What’s our role? How do we lead the way and respond to all the challenges along the way?

We are excited to have Laura Johnson speaking for our breakout, “Heaven starts at Home”. She is a preacher of the Word, pastor’s wife and mom who has raised her children in the house of the Lord. She speaks with deeply rooted faith, commitment to the Lord, and love of family.

Jesselyn Maasbach and Christy Grace are passionate worship leaders and song writers based in The Netherlands. Christy Grace manages a Christian radio station that is on the air internationally. Jesselyn is the head of a worship ministry and they both minister in the local church and in missions to several nations. They have a passionate love for the Gospel and an ability to lead people into the tangible presence of God through powerful, Spirit-filled worship.
