A beloved member of our church family, Gail Clarke, passed away peacefully on June 1 after a long illness. Gail was an active member of our church for many years. Her cheerful presence, strength and caring will be missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life service for Gail on Saturday, June 13 at 2pm in the Sanctuary. Immediately following, there will be a reception in Fellowship Hall with food and an opportunity to share memories of Gail with her family, her friends and her church.

It was a busy weekend here at UCC Bayberry. Rainy skies cleared to a perfect afternoon for our Messy Church field trip to Rudy’s in Oswego. Good food followed by some rock hunting and fellowship were enjoyed by all. On Sunday, during the Children’s Sermon, our kids performed a skit. It doesn’t take much to create something good. With just a cake mix and soda, you can create a cake. This is something we can give to our food pantry families so the can have the makings for a cake for special occasions. They brought in cake mix and soda (and some frosting) and challenged the congregation to do the same this month so we can share this with all our food pantry families.

NY/Help Honduras Presentation

On Saturday evening, May 9th, at 7:00pm, we will be hosting a presentation by Judy Toner regarding the NY/Help Honduras program, which started in 1998. This program provides medical and other help for an indigenous tribe in Honduras. Judy has traveled there 14 times will make a wonderful presentation about her experiences. There is a possibility that we may partner with this program if we believe in its mission.’’Please join us to find our more about this worthwhile mission
