Good afternoon all! Poppy's Bottle Redemption has a brand new place at 1885 Federal Rd, right up the street! They have been so kind and have placed a bin outside their redemption center to collect donations for VCA Victory Christian Academy scholarship fund. 3rd Quarter Student/Parent/Supervisor conferences will be coming up soon with the 3rd Quarter closing on Thursday March 19. As we finish out the year we want to reassess the levels and PACES the students are working on. In general, we watch for consistent scores of 95% or better and also consider the amount of time the student is working each day. If they are finishing early and they are scoring 95% or better consistently it may be an indication that they could move up to more challenging work. We never want to discourage a student that is working hard and doing quality work but we do want to challenge them.

When I was in school many years ago, I often ended up in continuous progress classes when they were available allowing me to work at a much faster pace in some subjects. Our school provides that opportunity to every student in every subject every day. We have seen both self-motivated and unmotivated students thrive in this environment, taking responsibility for their own work and enjoying the benefits of focusing on the fundamentals of Reading, Writing, & Arithmetic in a no-nonsense work environment. I know I would have thrived in a school of this type and we are glad to provide this opportunity for others.

"VCA Victory Christian Academy has been operating for over 5 years now. This week the staff is conducting the 2nd quarter student conferences. Our school committee has been asking if there was any way we could help serve homeschool families. We do have diagnostic testing, and a thorough knowledge of the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum and procedures. Two of our staff have been certified as administrators in this program and others have been trained as supervisors. We could assist homeschooling families with testing, ordering the correct curriculum for their individual students, and provide some oversight. We have talked about the possibility of registering students in the school and providing the materials for remote learning along with oversight and guidance providing a state approved individual equivalent education plan for students taught at home as an extension of VCA Victory Christian Academy . Our goal is to help families provide their students a high quality, no nonsense, Christian education. We know the results we can get for the students that enroll full-time here at VCA Victory Christian Academy . We have seen students who struggled elsewhere thrive in our learning environment. We have seen students who excel in this self-paced program beacuse they are no longer held back by a system that does not recognize their individual needs and proficencies.
