T. L. Osborn (1923–2013) was a Pentecostal evangelist, missionary, and author known for his bold preaching on healing, miracles, and the power of faith in Jesus Christ. Alongside his wife Daisy, he conducted massive crusades in over 90 nations, reaching millions with a Gospel centered on salvation, deliverance, and supernatural healing. His ministry emphasized that miracles were not reserved for the apostles or a select few but were available to all who believed. Through books like Healing the Sick and The Message That Works, Osborn challenged traditional doubt and reawakened confidence in the miracle-working power of God.
One of Osborn’s most enduring legacies was his insistence that the Jesus of the Bible is still the same today, healing the sick, casting out demons, and saving the lost. He often declared that it was impossible to read even a few pages of Scripture without encountering miracles. His message brought hope to nations steeped in poverty, oppression, and disease, and it gave ordinary believers the confidence to pray boldly and expect divine intervention. For Osborn, evangelism was never dry or theoretical, it was alive with the fire of the Holy Spirit and backed by demonstrations of God’s power.
