Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free. As we gather with family and friends, may we take a moment to reflect with gratitude, pray for the families of the fallen, and honor those who laid down their lives for others.

The Allen family invites you to join them in celebrating the life and legacy of Superintendent Rev. Bret Allen on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Destiny Church Sacramento, 9470 Micron Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95827. The outside doors will open at noon. Consider extra time for parking. The service will start promptly at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the Allen family is requesting donations to the Widows to Warriors fund. As a personal ministry of Reverend Valerie Allen, this fund supports ministry to widows throughout the Northern California and Nevada District. Good Afternoon Friends,

Thank you for your continuous prayers. We are asking you all to keep praying. We are still navigating tests throughout a 72-hour period that began Friday afternoon. Updates will continue to be posted as news is available.

We ask that you continue to pray for the many miracles needed, the entire Allen family, and the medical team serving him now. As a courtesy to the family and our AGNCN staff, we would ask that you respect their privacy and simply pray.

Friends!

A quick update related to Supt. Allen…he is currently being treated in a local Intensive Care Unit. The next 72 hours and the scheduled series of tests are our new targeted prayer focus. Please continue to pray!

Many have called, texted, or send messages through social media in an attempt to gain a better understanding of his status. As a courtesy to the family and our staff, we would ask that you respect their privacy and simply pray.

Good morning from Sacramento! We wanted to share an update from the Allen family.

This morning Superintendent Allen encountered some issues while working on his property. He was rushed to a local emergency room. His present condition is critical and requires urgent prayer. Please know that we will communicate more information as details become available. Prayer is required and visitors are not being allowed access. Again, we will keep you posted on updates as they are received. Please pray now!

There is a promise in Scripture that many of us desire… but few fully step into.

📖 “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord…” — Acts 3:19

We all want the refreshing.
We want peace.
We want joy.
We want God to move in our lives again.

But many times… we resist the very thing that unlocks it…. Repentance.

Repentance isn’t punishment… it’s an invitation.
It’s not God pushing you away… it’s Him pulling you back to Him.

The truth is, sometimes we feel dry, tired, and stuck—not because God has stepped away…
…but because we haven’t turned back.

➡️ Refreshing follows repentance.
➡️ Renewal follows surrender.
➡️ Freedom follows honesty before God.

God is not withholding from you… He’s waiting for you to let go of that thing that’s damaging your soul.

Today is a good day to turn your heart back toward Him. And when you do… refreshing will come. 💧🔥

Today was absolutely incredible at The Fathers House in Live Oak. 🔥🙌❤️

When you allow the Holy Spirit to actually have control and lead in the way he desires.. that’s when real freedom comes and lives get transformed.

Where the spirit of the Lord is.. there is freedom!
