What do dog food, jumper cables and ice cream have to do with Jesus? 🤔

You’ll have to ask one of our Melody Kids to find out! 😁

Today, we learned that in order to be saved according to Romans 10:9, you must 1) believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross and 2) confess with your mouth that He is your Lord and Savior. Then you will be saved. 🙏

Today in Melody Kids, we learned about “In-dependence Day.” This is the day in each of our Christian walks when we realize that we are totally dependent on Him, because without Him, we can’t do anything!

We cannot live independent from Him. We must stay joined to Him because that is the place where we will grow and bear fruit. We will remain in Him and His Word will remain in us!

“I am the vine. You are the branches. If you remain joined to me, and I to you, you will bear a lot of fruit. You can’t do anything without me.”

Our Melody Preschool Class learned about the gift of the Holy Spirit today. They unwrapped the gift box and found various items inside that taught them who Holy Spirit is to us. He is our comforter, our source of power, a light unto our path, and so many other things!

Our older Melody Kids continued to learn who they are in Christ, speaking 2 Corinthians 5:17 and other declarations about our identity in Christ.

Your children will not only grow here, but they will experience God’s presence. And you’ll grow while being ministered to as well. Melody Church is empowering the next generation to live for God, by faith. Come be part of what God is doing here!
