WHO WE ARE
We are an open and affirming body of Jesus Freaks that proclaim Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Messiah. As such we believe John 3:16-18 (16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOSEVER believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever b
elieves in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. New International Version)
We seek to embrace all! We will exclude no one, regardless of ones past, beliefs, social or professional status, education level, lifestyle, or sexual identity or orientation. As Jesus Freaks we seek to: reconcile ALL to God through Jesus, love God above all else, love others with a Godly love, walk what we believe, and to share what we know about what it means to fully live out the life of a beloved Child of God! We place importance on prayer and worship as a body. Additionally, during prayer and worship we allow for all to have the freedom to participate as one wants to. We believe in speaking out God’s word, in praying together out loud, we sing praises and want you to feel free to dance or shout out to the Lord! We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations, as such. We are opposed only to the emphasis of non-biblical teachings that divide the Body of Christ. We believe the true basis of Christian fellowship is God's love, which is greater than our differences. Without His love, we have no right to say we are Christians.
