This Sunday, we officially kick off our annual Summer Music Series — and we’re starting with a song that may surprise you!

This week’s featured song comes from a lesser-known Christian band called The Swift (and no… not that Swift). While the band may not be as widely known, the message of this song is powerful, energetic, and exactly the way we want to launch this summer together.

The theme this week is simple but challenging: WAKE UP. What does spiritual awakening really look like? What happens when God shakes us out of complacency, routine, and autopilot faith? And what might God want to awaken within us right now?

Expect high energy worship, a fun start to the series, and a message that will challenge and encourage you as we begin this summer journey together.

Whether you love Christian music, enjoy discovering songs you may have missed, or are simply looking for a place to reconnect and grow in your faith, this is a great Sunday to jump in.

This Summer at Littleton Baptist, the soundtrack of faith comes alive!

We’re cranking up the volume and turning back the clock as we celebrate 20 years since I graduated high school by revisiting the songs that shaped my faith. These aren’t just throwback tunes — they’re powerful reminders that God’s truth never fades, His grace never stops, and His love never quits.

From the soaring harmonies of The Swift, the anthems of MercyMe, the heartfelt worship of Michael W. Smith, the uplifting voices of Point of Grace, to the soul-stirring rock of Switchfoot, and more — these are the songs that scored a faith journey. And this summer, we’re bringing them to life in worship like never before!

Each Sunday, we’ll dive into one iconic song, connect it to God’s Word, and discover how it still inspires, challenges, and ignites our faith today. You’ll sing, reflect, and celebrate the music, hear Scripture that speaks directly into your life, and hear stories from my own journey of faith that will make you laugh, think, and maybe even shed a tear. You’ll leave with your heart lifted, your faith refreshed, and your spirit ready to walk out God’s truth boldly.

Weekly Updates - May 29
1) This Sunday during worship we will have our graduate recognition service as we honor our high graduate - Kat Atkins. Please join us for this special worship service.
2) After worship we will have our weekly after church Bible study led by Ed Atkins in the fellowship hall.
3) This Sunday our youth will meet at 4:30 PM for dinner out as we celebrate the end of the school year.
4) Wednesday Night activities - 6:15PM Choir Practice 7PM Adult Prayer & Bible Study
5) Our youth and children will go bowling at Fairwood Lanes on June 13th at 2PM. Contact Pastor David to sign up.

Every journey has a finish line. And with our series wrapping up, we also celebrate Graduation Recognition Sunday. We celebrate Kat Atkins and all she has accomplished as we finish this series on Paul. But graduates aren’t the only ones with finish lines.

Some are just beginning a new chapter.
Some are in the middle of the race.
Some have walked a long road already.

But no matter where we are…
we’re all moving toward something.

This Sunday, we wrap up our series with a message that speaks to every stage of life.

We’ll celebrate a graduate stepping into a new season — full of hope, possibility, and unknowns.

And together, we’ll reflect on what it really means to live a life of purpose, faith, and endurance.

Because in the end, the goal isn’t just to start well…

It’s to finish well.

Yesterday, we were reminded of something powerful:

We are not meant to do life alone.

We are part of something bigger — a community shaped by grace, connected by faith, and empowered to live with purpose.

And when we begin to see ourselves that way…
it changes everything.

It changes how we show up.
How we serve.
How we care for one another.

Now, as we come to the final week of this journey, we turn our attention to a question that every one of us will face:

How will our story end?
