“Do this in remembrance of me.”
Those words of Jesus have been spoken by Christians around the world for generations. We come to the table. We take the bread. We take the cup. And we remember.
But what exactly are we remembering? We remember the body of Christ, given for us. We remember His blood, poured out for us. We remember a Savior who willingly gave Himself because He loved us. We remember the cross, the sacrifice, the grace, and the incredible story of a God who loved us enough to come to us.
And maybe that is why the table is the perfect place for us to begin The Story Continues. Before we look ahead, we need to remember where our story begins. Before we talk about what God might do next, we pause to remember what Christ has already done.
This Sunday, as we gather around the Lord’s Table, we will begin this journey together by remembering the story that makes every other part of our story possible. We will remember His sacrifice. We will remember His grace. We will remember His faithfulness. And we will be reminded that our lives—and the life of the Church—have always been part of a story much bigger than ourselves.
So this Sunday, come to the table. Come remember. Come worship. Come share in this sacred reminder of the love of Jesus.
Because sometimes, before we can look forward to where the story is going, we need to pause and remember where the story began. The Story Continues.
Sunday School begins at 9:45 AM and Worship begins at 11:00 AM both in person and virtually. All are welcome.
