DB Outreach + National Leadership Council 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺
We’ve “hired” an NLC teen intern to help plan our programs, including the upcoming annual Jetty Park weekend in Florida! It’ll be a great opportunity to gain real work experience, and contribute ideas to DB programming.

Participants of all ages are invited to a fun and cozy DB weekend at the A/U Ranches in Buena Vista, CO. There will be activities for everyone including games in the lodge, sledding, and relaxing by the fire in addition to outdoor winter fun. 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 our Volunteer of the Month for December!

If you ever get the chance to meet Hanna, take it! She is a DB facilitator for our new Ignite program for 18–22 year olds, as well as for DB 20s/30s LA. Hanna is a wonderful individual who brings so much joy, love and thoughtfulness to any occasion. She has supported and attended many DiscoveryBound events and is now stepping into the DB Ignite Facilitator role this spring! When we asked Hanna what she likes about DB, she said, “I love that DiscoveryBound connects Christian Scientists of all ages and organizes inspiring ways to learn new skills, go on fun adventures and grow spiritually! I recently attended a cooking class hosted by DiscoveryBound, and had a great time learning new recipes, meeting new friends, and cherishing the spiritual ideas shared during our dinner.”
