Were you looking to fix a mess in your life? Those deeper questions about life's chaos are real. Maybe singing, hearing the Word, and being with others offers a path forward.

Some days it feels like the world has lost its footing.

The fears.
The division.
The exhaustion.
The wondering: “How do we keep going through all of this?”

This week’s message reminded us that the struggles of today are not as new as we think. The early church asked the same questions we ask now:

Can I survive this?
Can I live through this?
What does grace actually look like here?

Maybe grace isn’t pretending life is easy.
Maybe grace is the quiet courage to keep showing up with hope, compassion, and honesty anyway.

If you’ve been carrying questions about faith, resilience, or simply making it through difficult seasons, this reflection is for you.

Watch below. ⬇️

Rage doesn’t make you faithless.
Sometimes it means you’ve been hurt deeply enough to finally tell the truth.

This week, Pastor Alex spoke honestly about rage — the kind that sits in your chest, follows you on your morning run, and whispers, “God, just mildly inconvenience them today.”

And then came the harder question:

What does grace look like here?

Not pretending it didn’t hurt.
Not excusing harm.
Not erasing consequences.

Grace is not dismissing the victim.
Grace is not calling injustice “okay.”
Grace is something deeper. Harder. Holier.

If you’ve ever wrestled with anger, grief, betrayal, or the exhausting work of healing, this message is for you.

Maybe faith isn’t about never feeling rage.
Maybe it’s about what we do with it.

Have you ever looked back and thought,
“Thank God that prayer didn’t get answered”?

This week, Pastor Alex reflected on rage, injustice, and the strange grace of unanswered prayers. Because sometimes in our pain, we want control. We want justice on our timeline. We want God to fix things our way.

But grace asks a deeper question:

Who are we becoming in the middle of it all?

Not people who pretend hurt doesn’t exist.
Not people who excuse injustice.
But people who stand firmly in the truth of who God is — and who we are as beloved children of God.

Grace is not something we earn.
It’s something we learn to embody because we know the One who gives it.

If you’ve ever wrestled with anger, disappointment, or prayers that never came true, this message might meet you exactly where you are.

The Spirit of God has made me,
and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
— Job 33:4

At Pentecost, that breath became a mighty wind.

The same Spirit who moved across creation still moves among us today—bringing life, courage, healing, and connection across every boundary we build.

Grace was never meant to be hoarded.
It flows outward.
Toward neighbors.
Toward strangers.
Toward communities longing for hope.

Where have you experienced the Spirit bringing life lately?

Join me in Prayer:

Spirit of the living God, you came at Pentecost with wind and fire, breaking through every barrier of language and culture. Pour out your grace on us today. Open our hearts to receive your gifts and our hands to share them freely. Help us see that your grace knows no borders and excludes no one. Send us out as witnesses of your inclusive, transforming love so that all nations might know the hope we have found in you. Amen.

Rage. Hurt. Frustration.
Most of us know those feelings better than we’d like to admit.

This week’s sermon wrestles with a difficult question:
What does grace actually look like when someone has hurt us?

Grace is not pretending pain didn’t happen.
Grace is not dismissing victims.
Grace is not removing consequences.

Real grace is deeper, harder, and more transformative than that.

If you’ve ever struggled with anger, forgiveness, or what healing even looks like after hurt — this conversation is for you. 💙

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." Acts 2:1-4

Why do bad things happen to good people?
It’s one of the oldest questions we carry. Even as adults, we still long for life to feel fair.

This week’s message explores what happens when suffering shows up without explanation — and how grace can shape us even in the middle of it.

Sometimes grace isn’t about getting what we deserve.
Sometimes it’s about discovering who we become when life feels unjust.

If you’ve ever wrestled with disappointment, comparison, grief, or unanswered questions… this message is for you. 💙
