Genesis has supported Food Bank of the Rockies as one of its Major Missions after the sale of our building as we turn Bricks Into Mission. With the current political climate, this would be a good time to make a donation to fight food insecurity.

We all have fond memories of Rob and Chris Hughes as Rob functioned as our 2nd church leader/youth pastor while in seminary. After his time at Genesis he was ordained to a call from Broadway Church in Sedallia, MO. He's recovering from heart surgery and obviously doing well. Prayers for Rob and Chris from Genesis!

Maundy Thursday Service at 7PM.
Easter Service at 9 AM. Both in the Genesis Sanctuary led by The Rev. Joy Englesman. Open Communion at both services.

We are very blessed to have the Reverend Joy Englesman join us in our pulpit for the month of April. She has a real passion for Holy Week so it will be a great blessing for us to have her lead us in worship through Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Easter and the rest of April.

Reverend Joy was welcomed into our Presbytery and the Presbyterian Church in January as a transfer from the Christian Reformed Church. She is a familiar face to many in the Denver area. Joy earned a Master of Divinity degree from Denver Seminary and served a Denver congregation for nine years as well as doing frequent guest preaching in the Denver area.

She has served as a coach for churches in transition and as a mentor to seminary students and new ministers. She has significant ties to Africa, being born to missionary parents, growing up in Africa, and as the Director of Training for Youth for Christ - Africa. Throughout her life she been involved many aspects of church worship - musician, worship leader, planner, teacher and writer. She plays the piano and organ and is even taking carillon lessons at DU.
