Tomorrow, October 15, is Pregnancy and Infancy Loss Remembrance Day. We know that a great many people are affected by the heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss, and that the grief from this is complex and isolating. Tomorrow, our chapel will be open from 7-9AM, 11AM-1PM, and 4-6PM for those that want to come pray. We will have a votive station where individuals can light a candle for their child(ren) as well as a prayer card with guided prayers and resources. We hope all will be in prayer for those grieving this day.

Last week our staff paused to worship and serve together.

After a time of worship and reflection in the sanctuary, we headed upstairs to pack PHUMC Food Pantry bags for patients and families at UAMS! We’re grateful for a team that lives that out our mission to inspire love, embrace Christ, and engage the world!

We had the joy of welcoming the Arkansas Annual Conference Planning Committee to Pulaski Heights this week! Our staff led them through our space as we began dreaming together about what it will look like to host United Methodists from across our state in June.

There’s a lot of work ahead, but more than anything, we’re excited to open our doors, set the table, and offer the kind of welcome to our family in the connection.
